Who we are

One of Nigeria’s leading social-impact health organisations.

Founded in 1985, SFH Nigeria is part of the Society for Family Health Group, a forty-year-old organisation working across Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Côte d’Ivoire. Inside Nigeria we partner with the Federal Ministry of Health, state governments, donors, and the private sector to scale an Essential Package of Health Services for the families who need it most.

What we stand for

Vision & Mission.

Vision

A Nigeria where every family, regardless of income, geography, or circumstance, can access the quality, affordable health care they need to live healthier, longer lives.

Mission

Improve health outcomes by ensuring Nigerian communities, particularly the poor and vulnerable, have access to affordable, quality health services that allow them to lead healthier lives.

Who we serve

Five groups. Thirty-six states. One Federation.

From the family unit outward, SFH’s programmes reach five beneficiary groups across all 36 states and the FCT, and, increasingly, partners across the SFH Group footprint.

Core Values

Seven principles. One mission.

The values that shape how SFH Nigeria’s teams design programmes, deliver care, and report what we find, taken straight from how we operate every day.

  1. We acknowledge an obligation to set and demand the highest standards of accountability in the use of resources entrusted to us.

Strategic Plan

Six strategic directions, one agenda.

SFH Nigeria's strategy is organised around six directions that shape every programme decision, from how we engage government to how we strengthen the supply chain and develop the workforce that delivers care.
