Since its inception, SFH has worked with partners to strengthen MNCH by delivering evidence-based, scalable programmes that affect women and children’s lives, and strengthen thought leadership and policy reforms across the MNCH spectrum. Good health for women and children leads to longer, more fulfilled lives, allowing the woman and the child the opportunity to attain meaningful development. It is also a basic human right.

ESMPIN
Expanded Social Marketing Project in Nigeria
A five-year, multi-partner programme enhancing access to family planning, reproductive health, and child-health products while promoting healthy behaviours and exploring local manufacturing for key commodities.
WHP
Women’s Health Project
A five-year programme across 19 states and the FCT targeting maternal-mortality reduction, expanding access to IUCDs and implants for women aged 18 to 45 and adding postpartum-haemorrhage prevention with Misoprostol.
RAcE 2015
Rapid Access Expansion Programme
A community case-management programme expanding rapid access to first-line treatment for malaria, diarrhoea, and pneumonia for children under five in hard-to-reach communities.

MNCH Improvement Project (Northeast Nigeria)
A north-east-focused improvement programme strengthening MNCH service delivery, the workforce, and community demand in conflict-affected and underserved areas.
