Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus

Society for Family Health as an intermediary organization for the TB SHOPS plus in Kano started the implementation of SHOPS Plus Project in October 2018. It has been supporting several private health facilities in the provision of quality TB services with the overall aim of active TB case finding using the SHOPS Plus Public-Private Mix (PPM) approach.

The goals of the project are to increase the availability and quality of TB services in the private sector, improve the flow of persons with presumptive TB into the detection and treatment system, and strengthen the health system to foster and sustain PPM Model of TB care.
