SFH Nigeria reaffirmed her commitment to one of her intervention areas; “malaria prevention and treatment” with keen focus on Jigawa and Kastina States, the team recorded millions of LLINs distributed within the metropolis and to the hard to reach settlements in order to fight against malaria, an epidemic still a reality as the largest disease burden, in Nigeria.

Eight million, six hundred and thirteen thousand and fifty (8,613,050) Long lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) were distributed in Jigawa and Katsina States in partnership with other stakeholders.

We secured the support of Adamawa State to scale up IPC intervention to 100% coverage, pioneered high level advocacy to State governors for the poorest and vulnerable who shoulder the largest burden of malaria in our society.
