Recently, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) President for Gender Equality Division, Dr Anita Zaidi along with her team, paid a visit to our IntegratE site in Kano State.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Foundation’s top leadership to access some of the family planning programmes and explore possibilities to scale up high impact practices.

During the visit, the team engaged with several IntegratE Interpersonal Communication Agents (IPCAs) and were impressed at their extensive knowledge of family planning and skills in demand creation.

The team equally conducted interviews with some of the households visited by the IPCAs and gained insights into the transmission of data using the Open Data Kit (ODK) tool.
