The Emergency Transport Scheme was efficient that within one hour a pregnant woman in need can access health services at the nearest health care centre. According to the statements made by the Deputy Managing Director programs, Jennifer Anyanti, at the dissemination meeting of the Emergency Transport Scheme (ETS) with stakeholders in Yola, Adamawa State, the primary aim of the project was to mitigate maternal and infant mortality.
